Although my favorite SMAP is Takuya Kimura, Shingo is kind of special for me since we both are Aquarius ;) He's funny, he doesn't mind if he looks silly, Shingo-mama is love, love his voice and his English ;) and if he wants to he can be so so sexy! i.e. the pic above and the icon I'm using (among others)

Yes, yes, I wasn't going to post, and I really don't have the time but last week I wanted to post this and I didn't...

Questions:

I wonder if somebody else has had this problem. I created some friends groups to filter some posts I've made lately. But, I've realized today that I think not everybody is getting access to those posts or at least they aren't featured in their friends' posts section... Don't know if it makes sense... What I'm afraid is that those people I do allow to read those filtered posts, aren't really reading them because they don't get access to them... Some help here???

And just out of curiosity, has anybody used the LJ Talk thing??? If you have, how it is? Is it good? Is it easy/friendly to use?

Silliness: Douglas Fairbanks jr / Takuya Kimura and SMAP

I can't stop watching The Rage of Paris. I know it's just a little comedy but I so love it!!! I think Douglas Fairbanks jr is so incredibly good in it and he has such great lines!!! I'm sure you'd probably say that they aren't that great... but I love when a man talks like this, that is also the way Cary Grant talks in some of his comedies too... *sigh* I'm in love! arggg!

Btw, I got some other movies and one of Fairbanks jr's books (I got two wrote by him and another one that is a biography in Ebay but I've just received one of them)...

Just a tiny warning... I may talk more about him/his movies etc... in future posts.


**Another thing: Next Monday the Takuya Kimura special dvd about the filming of Bushi no Ichibun is finally released. I can't really wait to receive my copy!!!

And December 5 or 6 (not sure here) SMAP 2006 Tour DVD is released! You can bet that will be one of my Christmas presents! Yay!

I tried to keep myself far away from YouTube. I knew once I started I'd come back searching for more... I still have some videos I really want to post the links of but today SMAP took control of me and made me look for videos of them: singing, in commercials, being funny and adorable... Maybe you've seen them... maybe not ;)

Yesterday was Masahiro Nakai's birthday (let's say it in a whisper: 34!) He is the oldest of all SMAP members, although he sometimes doesn't look like it ;) Takuya, Shingo and Nakai are my favorite SMAP members, although I love them all, anyway.

I really want to write about what I've been doing lately (nothing interesting really), but today I'm too tired for that... and yesterday that I had the inspiration at the beginning, later on I lost it...*sigh*

bexatious posted HERE all the West Wing episodes in mp3. When I found out about this I thought it was a brilliant idea!!! (I have some already to uploaded to my iPod. I find quite cool the possibility of listening to the episodes wherever I am!! Actually I should figure out how to do that with some other stuff ;))

At smapxsmap janie02 posted a video made for her dedicated to the 18th years of SMAP. I'm still trying to get it all, since sendspace is giving me hell.

More SMAP at boys_paper (have to join to see the posts, I think). nanakiss posted scans of Japanese magazine Myojo September 2006 issues, where there are some great pics of the band and separately. Takuya with a black hat looks pretty hot ;)

I spent the other day surfing a lot of sites and LJ communities. I had in mind to post about them but we'll see if I manage ;)

I also watched Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest and haven't written my opinion...

And finally checked if my 'colleagues love' obsession in Silent Witness had a follow-up or not in the two final episodes of the season... Let's say that I'm not disappointed but could have been more ;)

I've been five days at the beach (Benidorm) just to suffer more hot weather in my flesh and bones... humidity made things worse the first couple of days but walking in the sand and the lovely baths in the sea made things better :) I should have taken pics but, honestly, didn't have the energy :S

But, everything has good things, while I was there, I managed to watch Superman Returns (dubbed, the only bad thing) ( although everybody else has already talked about it,here are my thoughts: especially about James Marsden )

I've checked more than 600 posts back in my flist and I think I know how things have been going on around here, more or less... People have been busy!!

Btw, I've just bought new SMAP album online... Hope to get it soon, I can't wait to listen to it!!!

Okay, a quick post about some things related to different fandoms...

* I was pretty happy after the spoilers I read the other day about Spooks series 5. Now I am not so happy :( , probably the opposite, and it isn't even Rupert Penry-Jones related, but in my head it is related to Adam Carter, although in fact is about another character. I sound cryptic, but I don't want to ruin more things about the next series to anybody :S. I read the awful news in spooky_doings, in this post. I'll just say that I had ideas for fics involving Adam and this character... argg.

* I have several Bollywood movies to watch but my incredible desire to do so fights with my need to study (more than a lot!) since my Chinese exam is next Thursday and the Japanese one is the next Wednesday... Both are quite important, but honestly I have more possibilities to pass the Japanese one... I know I've mentioned them before, but the thing is that although I struggle to be far from LJ I just can't :S

* Just in case somebody else is curious, these are the Aamir Khan's movies I have here waiting to be seen:
- Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (I've seen already half of it and probably will watch the rest in the following days because even with the 80's look it's really cute!)
- Raja Hindustani (that I did star watching once months ago but I felt asleep watching... My fault it was pretty late at night. I remember I liked the premise)
- Lagaan (I'm very curious about it but as I don't know why, I relate it in some way to Mangal Pandey, I prefer to be in the mood to watch this one)

And in the last days I've have also bought:
-Andaz Apna Andaz (the cover of the dvd reminded me of some awful Spanish comedies from the seventies, but it was cheap)
-Ghulam (I read the synopsys and I really want to watch this)
-Dil (the same as above)
-Rangeela (the same as above, but I've read so many great things about this one that now I really want to watch it)

* It seems Michael Jackson is going to be in June 5th SMAPXSMAP. I am not curious about that fact because I find him quite creepy (sorry to those who like him. I like some songs but his looks are just... uncomfortable for me). I want to watch that one because I want to see the guys' reaction since they are so impressionable about some International stars... I got the info from smapxsmap. Btw, I've made my brand new 'evil takuya' icon from a image I also got from the community but I don't remember from who. sorry. If somebody knows tell me and I'll credit her.

* Those waiting for new Cedric/Hermione manips or some other artwork related to them... Please bear with me, I'll work in them soon... in a couple of weeks I'll be free to play with Photoshop for entire days!

First of all:

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all!!!

I'm not going to talk too much about traditions, just that I will later on have a family dinner (that is common thing to do here in Spain). Here most of the celebrations these days are focused in eating and drinking. It's a good thing that between Christmas Eve and 'Nochevieja' (that is our name for December 31st) we have a week to recover. I don't usually drink, so I only have to recover for the amount of food I am invited to eat! omg!

Yesterday I met with two groups of my friends to wish each other Merry Christmas. I saw Seven Swords and I bought some books and not in that particular order.

Against my better judgement I am in an incredibly Harry Potter mood... more or less the same that I had after the first and third movies (I didn't happen to me with the second one that probably is my less favorite, although I like it as well).

Anyway, the reasons are some. It isn't like I need an excuse to get all fangirly and obsessed about any fandom. Sometimes I do it all by myself ;) but sometimes things and people around me are what get me into a fandom or renew my love for an old one, like this case.

Part is because of koalathebear and her Cedric/Hermione shipping (that now I must confess I also have). In fact, now I adore Cedrid as a character and it didn't happen to me when I was reading the book. That can also be because I didn't picture Cedric with the looks of Robert Pattinson and now I do (that boy is really handsome).

First of all I am pretty new to LJ so if there is a rule I don't know about related to these things people call memes, please I truly deeply apologize if I infringe it.
I have to take a train or a bus to go to the city center and yesterday I took one to meet my friends for our usual 'Saturday get together, have Asian food and ramble about movies and actors' and I was kind of bored while I was in the bus. I tried really hard to put myself to study some Chinese or really think about the plots I have in my head for possible Strange or Foyle's War fics. So instead I thought about lists of things and I thought it would be a good idea to post them here and if somebody else wants to do their lists basing in these ones it would be fun and interesting to know more about common tastes and about people you have in your friend list.

I've been trying to get icons from Takuya's jdoramas done... since, well, I don't know... but a long time. I remember I made about two or three of him as Sena (his character in Long Vacation) but that was all (not all the Takuya icons, because I have quite a few already made and probably more will come...)

Anyway, I am really happy about another thing related to Takuya/SMAP so I am gonna think about the icons as a celebration ;)
